  I have been going to this shop for years now. I love the ducks, rabbits and the other small animals they sometimes have on offer. I mainly buy fish and fish supplies, but I have been there to buy other things for other animals as well. I buy a lot of bird products too and they were pretty good quality. I can't really say the same for the fish, though. I have had some great fish, very hardy things, but a lot of the fish I've had had from there have been a bit dodgy. I can admit that a lot of the fish's deaths were on my part, but once I bought a fish from there, that died, no joke, in 15 minutes. And I was pretty mad about it. The worst part is that I didn't know about their "fish guarantee" so I never got a refund... Anyway, the shop is in a strange location (hidden behind two buildings) but they do get a lot customers most of the time. And the staff are alright, Not too bad. At the end of the day, it's really your choice if you go there (and I recommend you do), and you might get some better fish than I did.

  I usually go in for dog related products. For the three years I have been in the Gong, the staff including John, the manager have always been very helpful and if they aren't sure about something they will look into it for me. I'm into natural and Australian made dog treats, food etc. PETstock have a great selection these days, so no need to buy overseas made treats!

  Great store. Great selection and always lots of sales. If they don't have something in, it can be ordered most of the time (especially large fish tanks) which is really good! Always get a hello from all the staff and welcomed at the door which is really nice. Definitely the best store in the illawarra I think!
